Are you a whiz with numbers and do you want to optimize ordering processes as much as possible to provide the best possible support to our branches? Then this is the position for you! 

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) department consists of a team of specialists working intensively together with the goal of perfect inventory management. To strengthen this team, we are looking for someone for 32 to 40 hours per week. It is a challenge to coordinate inventory management as effectively as possible, thereby realizing maximum sales with minimal out-of-stock situations and low write-offs. For the head office, the Purchasing department, the regional management, suppliers, branches, and the team managers at the distribution center, the department is the point of contact. In this way, you collectively ensure that the customer does not miss out and you prevent under- or overstocking.

• Within this role, you are responsible for a specific product group;
• You create forecasts and place orders with both national and international suppliers;
• You analyze orders and also focus on monitoring sales with the goal of achieving maximum turnover at minimum costs;
• You resolve shortages and surpluses before they arise, always keeping environmental factors, weather, promotions, and customer wishes in mind;
• You have daily contact with branches, suppliers, employees at the distribution center, and the head office;
• You understand current processes and have a natural drive to further optimize them.
