The role
Nice to know (you)
- You ensure that Schiphol remains safe and demonstrably compliant with EASA regulations, thereby contributing directly to the maintenance of our EASA certificate.
- HSE Risk & Compliance makes Schiphol safer every day by identifying risks at an early stage, learning from what (almost) goes wrong, and strictly testing whether we comply with laws and regulations.
- From traveler to employee: we find it very important that everyone feels safe, valued, and welcome at Schiphol.
Connecting your world
As an EASA Compliance Advisor, you advise process owners, asset managers, and management on the application of EASA regulations within airport operations. The goal is for Schiphol to proactively and demonstrably comply with applicable laws and regulations, thereby avoiding enforcement procedures. And how will you approach this? That is up to you. We rely on the way you show sincere attention to others, take their needs seriously, and actively contribute to their development and well-being. You will apply your talents to:
- monitoring and interpreting new and amended EASA regulations.
- assessing the impact of regulatory changes on airport processes.
- advising process owners and management on compliance issues.
- coordinating external audits by ILT and monitoring and overseeing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
- monitoring and testing changes within the airport organization via the Management of Change (MoC) process, including impact assessments and compliance assessments.
- reporting to the Compliance Monitoring Manager regarding identified non-compliance performance and any risks.
