You possess a higher professional education (HBO) level of work and thinking and have demonstrable experience with project-based procurement within a technical environment, preferably in shipbuilding or yacht building.

In addition, you bring:

• At least 3-5 years of work experience as a Project Buyer, category buyer, or manager within a project or production environment.
• Knowledge of Hull & Structures, steel and aluminum constructions, and/or mechanical outfitting.
• Experience with the procurement of technical manufactured parts, material packages, and project-related services.
• Insight into naval architectural and technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of project-based working and working with tight schedules.
• Good command of ERP systems and MS Office (experience with Navision is a plus).
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.

• Salary: A salary of € 4600 and a maximum of € 7000.

The construction of our Feadships starts with a strong hull and structure. Project-based procurement of Hull & Structures (steel/aluminum), mechanical outfitting and associated technical disciplines is crucial in this process. As a Project Buyer, you make a direct and visible contribution to the success of our yacht building projects by procuring materials, construction parts, and technical components in a timely, correct manner and under the right conditions. With your technical knowledge, you connect engineering, planning, and suppliers into a solid and reliable foundation for every yacht.

As a Project Buyer, you are responsible for project-oriented procurement within one or more Feadship projects, with a clear focus on Hull & Structures, steel and aluminum constructions, and mechanical outfitting. You manage the entire procurement process: from technical inquiry and quotation analysis to negotiations, contracting, and progress monitoring.

You work closely with engineering, project management, and production to translate technical specifications into commercial agreements. You monitor delivery times, costs, and quality within complex construction phases and adjust where necessary. Thanks to your knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and suppliers in (yacht) construction, you know how to identify risks early and actively contribute to a predictable and controlled construction process.
