Are you ready for an internship that truly lets you make a difference?
At the Royal IHC training institute, you will be immediately welcomed by a team of enthusiastic professionals who cannot wait to share their knowledge with you. You will sit at the table with the decision-makers, brainstorm new ideas, and see how your input actually takes shape. You will also work on the setup and execution of marketing campaigns. You will learn how to launch a product in the market, how to reach the right target audience, and how to make an impact.
Marketing is more challenging than ever in this digital world, and you will get the freedom to experiment and grow in a dynamic environment.
To be successful in this internship, you are curious, determined, and enthusiastic.
We are looking for someone with:
Examples of (graduation) assignments include (re)branding, a business plan for open courses in other countries such as the USA, expanding the training product portfolio to other market groups, certification of training, online marketing and/or strategy plan, sales plan, etc.
What do we offer?
With us, you get the chance to develop your skills and gain valuable experience.
The IHC Training Institute (ITI) offers customers worldwide training on dredging and mining activities, operating dredgers, and more. As a Sales, Marketing, and Communication intern, you will work in a small team with two trainers and a manager who provide training worldwide. Our training institute in Kinderdijk features various classrooms, a studio for online lessons, and four dredger simulators, two of which are mobile and can be shipped to customers all over the world.
On Monday morning, the IHC Training Institute team discusses recent and upcoming training sessions. One trainer has just returned from Las Vegas, while another is departing for Bangkok in 3 weeks with the cutter suction dredger simulator. Have the flights been booked, is the hotel confirmed, and is the visa arranged? What did we learn from the training in Las Vegas?
Next week, we welcome a Dutch company for internal training. You ensure that trainers and guest lecturers are well prepared and that all locations are ready. You maintain contact with customers and participants and arrange their access to the shipyard. Additionally, you plan social media posts for Royal IHC.
Time to check the ITI inbox, but then you receive a phone call from a colleague about internal pump training. You check the trainers' schedules and confirm that the training can be provided. Is this an opportunity to provide new material for ITI marketing purposes?
On Friday, you are early at the shipyard to prepare an online training for customers in Australia, followed by a customer visit including a tour and simulator experiences.
You ensure that all preparations for next week are handled.
You have a busy day: you attend a meeting to explore a collaboration with industry associations and present the plan you prepared for this.
