Internship Trading Excellence in Process Optimization

Complete an internship in a dynamic environment where you can learn a lot! Books and lectures are educational, but of course, it is even more fun to apply the knowledge you acquire during your studies directly in practice. During this working internship, you will strengthen the Trading Excellence team and get the chance to make an important contribution to improving processes within the purchasing organization of Kruidvat and Trekpleister.

You will work on updating and optimizing the onboarding process and the purchasing manual. To do this, you will actively engage in conversation with colleagues from various teams, analyze existing working methods, and ensure that processes are recorded clearly, up-to-date, and user-friendly. You will get a unique look behind the scenes of our purchasing organization and learn how different departments work together to make our stores and webshop successful. How cool is that?

What does your work week as an intern look like?

• You inventory existing work processes at various process levels and actively gather information from process owners, (assistant) category managers, and other stakeholders.
• You organize interviews and information meetings and translate the gathered information into a clear and uniform documentation structure.
• You update and optimize the existing purchasing manual and contribute to a smooth onboarding process for new colleagues.
• You identify missing, unclear, or outdated information and come up with improvement proposals.
• You monitor the quality, consistency, and completeness of the recorded processes and working methods.
