Logistics Operator

• Your position

  As a Logistics Operator, you will be part of the 5-shift service. Within this role, you are responsible for the logistical handling of finished products originating from seven production lines for potato starch derivatives. You ensure that products are stored and transported to the warehouse safely, efficiently, and according to the correct guidelines. Without your contribution, products cannot be processed in a timely manner, which directly impacts production capacity.

  You will work in a shift service alongside operators, packaging operators, the head operator, and the team leader. Additionally, you will have a lot of contact with colleagues from the warehouse and the logistics department.

  Your impact

  In this role, you ensure a stable and efficient logistics process. Your duties include, among other things:

  • Providing the supply of packaging materials.
  • Removing logistical rejects.
  • Receiving, moving, and storing finished products according to procedures and guidelines.
  • Resolving disruptions to palletizing machines, robots, shrink sleeve machines, and automated transport systems.
  • Monitoring automated logistics processes and installations.
  • Performing administrative tasks in systems such as SAP and MES.
  • Contributing to improvements within the department and participating in Avebe improvement initiatives.
  Team & work environment

  You will be part of a close-knit shift team consisting of a team leader, head operator, operators, packaging operators, and logistics operators. Together, you ensure that products are produced, packaged, and stored safely, efficiently, and according to plan.

  • A valid forklift certificate or extensive experience as a forklift driver.
  • Experience within a logistics environment is a plus.

  • You can handle administrative tasks well.
  • You are willing to work in a 5-shift roster.
  • An MBO-3 diploma and/or VAPRO B is desired, but not a requirement.
