Chemical Analyst

• A salary between €2,639 - €2,900 gross per month based on full-time employment

No sample is the same, and that is exactly what makes your work interesting. At Normec Dumea in Wijhe, you will work with diverse samples and analytical techniques, and with your work, you contribute to quality within the agricultural sector.

You will perform a wide range of chemical analyses on, among others, soil, crop, water, biocide, and manure samples. In doing so, you will work with various analytical techniques, including:

• Classical chemical determinations

• Segmented Flow Analyzer

• ICP

• NIR

You will perform the analyses independently and are responsible for processing, evaluating, and reporting the results. In doing so, you look beyond just the daily activities: you actively think along about improving and optimizing processes.

Additionally, you will make an important contribution to the quality system according to ISO/IEC 17025 and be closely involved in the development and validation of new analytical methods. This gives you the space to further expand your professional knowledge and contribute to the continuous development of our laboratory.

As a Chemistry Analyst, you will be part of a diverse team of approximately 25 colleagues, including analysts and laboratory staff. You will work closely with the head chemistry analyst, who will guide you in getting to know our organization, the activities, and your role within the team.

At Normec Dumea, you will join a close-knit, friendly, and informal team where collaboration and quality are central.

Working hours are generally between 07:00 and 18:00. During peak periods, we ask for some flexibility, whereby you can also work evening shifts in consultation.
