Laboratory analyst

We are looking for a Laboratory Analyst to join the NORIT team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of physical and chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediate and finished products, and process water samples.

• Preparing samples and laboratory equipment,
• Performing standard analyses according to protocols and industry standards,
• Analyzing and calculating results and checking against specifications,
• Discussing deviations or unusual results with supervisors or senior colleagues,
• Recording findings and entering data into systems,
• Preparing reports and sharing insights with internal and external stakeholders (in Dutch and English),
• Identifying and reporting shortages of consumables (such as glassware and chemicals),
• Ensuring order, cleanliness, and correct waste disposal in the laboratory.

! Your work location - Your ultimate place of work is our laboratory in Zaandam. Because our laboratory in Zaandam is being renovated, you will initially work from our R&D lab in Amersfoort. We expect this temporary situation to last approximately two years. Once the renovation is completed, you will move back to Zaandam together with the team.

• MLO level 4 in chemistry,
• No experience required - recent graduates are welcome,
• Accurate and analytical mindset,
• Strong communication skills and a true team player,
• Result-oriented and good at time management,
• Fluent in Dutch, good command of English is a plus.
