Fruit and Vegetable Quality Controller

For our young and dynamic team, we are looking for a quality controller. In this role, you will use your knowledge and experience to assess and ensure the quality of fruit and vegetable products. You will join a close-knit team in which junior and experienced advisors work closely together to guarantee the quality of the products.

As a Fruit and Vegetable Quality Controller, you know better than anyone that fruit and vegetables undergo a long journey before they end up on our plates. During that journey, much is required to ensure quality, freshness, and food safety. We want everyone to be able to enjoy good and safe food without worry. As a Fruit and Vegetable Quality Controller, you play an important role in this.

You will check the quality of fruit and vegetable products at various customer locations, primarily in the west of the Netherlands. Your duties include:

• Performing quality controls on mainly imported fruit and vegetable products

• Preparing quality reports in the Normec QC One reporting system

• Answering questions regarding product quality

• Advising on the correct preservation and storage of products

You feel at ease in a dynamic environment and get energy from working in a team to meet the highest quality standards. You also bring:

• At least 3 years of experience as a quality controller, during which you have gained experience with relevant P-modules

• You are able to perform reasonably physical work, as you will be busy moving and inspecting crates containing the best fruit and vegetable products

• Experience working with Normec QC One is a plus

• Residing in the Rotterdam or The Hague region, within a radius of approximately 20 kilometers

• Ideally, you are available 40 hours per week; 32 hours per week is negotiable

• You are stress-resistant, flexible, and independent

• You command the Dutch language and preferably also the English language

• You possess a Category B driver's license
