The role

The environment is at the top of the agenda for governments, civil society, and citizens, and that is likely to remain so for some time. Its importance in decision-making regarding companies and procurement, legislation, standards, and regulations is constantly increasing. As the world's leading provider of environmental services, we offer testing, sampling, inspection, certification, verification, and a wide range of specialist solutions to minimize your environmental impact.

The laboratory is part of the Industries & Environment business line. Approximately 50 employees work at our location. In our accredited laboratory, we perform a large number of analyses using advanced analytical techniques on soil, water, waste, and air samples.

What you'll do

  • You will perform a wide range of varied analytical activities within our quality system.
  • You will work with  various instrumental techniques  such as potentiometry, titrimetry, spectrometry, ion chromatography, coulometry, and IR spectroscopy.
  • You will handle the preventive maintenance of the automated systems and, in the event of malfunctions, structurally identify the problem.
  • You are able to adapt the application for deviating matrices offered.
  • You will maintain the quality aspects of the analyses such as: initial validations, periodic validations, daily quality controls, and  management of standards.
  • You will check the instruments and, when all requirements are met, report analysis results  in our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). 
  • You will work according to a LEAN methodology where efficiency and quality are important.
