Construction Supervisor Track & Railway Engineering

You ensure that track and railway engineering projects are executed safely, efficiently, and according to contract.

• On behalf of ProRail, you assess whether the executing contractor is correctly applying the contract and you monitor safety, risks, technology, planning, budget, and quality.

• You are the linchpin for the assessment team and maintain contact with contractors and clients.

• You will be deployed as a technical specialist to support the coordinating construction supervisor with your knowledge.

You ensure that projects run smoothly during the realization phase. You assess the delivered quality and the lawfulness of payments to the contractor according to the contract. You advise on safety, the feasibility of designs, contracts, and technical feasibility. You consult with the client and report based on pre-agreed processes, requirements, and risks. In this way, you are the connecting link between the client and the contractor. You work together with the Rail Construction Management team on projects such as the High-Frequency Rail Program, Groningen Rail Zone, and various yard and superstructure renewals in Heerlen, Amsterdam Westhaven, Zee-Zevenaar, Flevolijn, and Maastricht.

You are a true connector who switches easily between different parties and always has an eye for the collective result. You enjoy working in a team, but are also strong independently. You possess persuasiveness, perseverance, and like to take initiative. You are eager to learn, ask questions, and are flexible with working hours. You are communicatively skilled, proficient in the Dutch language, and enjoy working during commissioning. You are proud of the profession and contribute to an open and informal atmosphere in which colleagues make each other better.

You also bring:

• you have completed an mbo-4, hbo, or wo education in the field of ggw, civil engineering, or similar;

• you have an affinity with the rail and infrastructure industry;

• you are digitally skilled and have an affinity with automation; experience with MS Project, Visio, or Relatics is a plus.
