Credit Controller

• A few years of experience with accounts receivable management.
• Result-oriented and good at setting priorities.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, experience with an ERP system
• You have excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

What you will do

As a credit controller at VDL Nederland in Eindhoven, you are responsible for ongoing contact with customers regarding the collection of outstanding receivables. You follow up on customer feedback, communicate with the inside sales departments of the relevant VDL companies, and monitor follow-up using our CreditManagement application from CreditDevice. You manage risks by requesting limits from our credit insurer (Atradius) and monitoring them. Every month, you report the accounts receivable/overdue status to the management of the various VDL companies for which you are responsible. Your daily activities also consist of:

• Managing your own mailbox and shared mailboxes, including following up on actions.
• Sending reminders and following up on payment arrangements.
• Monitoring limit utilization and performing accounts receivable management.

You will work at the VDL Nederland head office in Eindhoven. Together with a team of five credit controllers, each of you will manage a portfolio of VDL companies. You work together in the office in an open working atmosphere where independence and freedom in your work are central. The position is for 24 or 32 hours per week, with your working days to be determined in consultation.
