Service Project Manager

You start your day with a cup of coffee and a quick check of the schedule. Which service jobs are on the agenda this week? Are there any bottlenecks with customers or in the supply chain? You maintain the overview and switch gears immediately where necessary.

Afterwards, you coordinate with colleagues and partners. You call a service partner to confirm the deployment of engineers and check with the team whether all tools, parts, and documentation are ready for an upcoming job. Thanks to your preparation, our field service engineers can get to work without surprises.

Throughout the day, you are in continuous contact with customers. You answer questions, think along about solutions, and ensure that service visits and projects run smoothly. Is something going differently than planned? No problem, you react quickly, make decisions, and ensure that the impact remains limited.

In between, you work on multiple service projects simultaneously. You monitor planning, scope, and budget and maintain control over the progress. You see risks coming in time and act proactively. Meanwhile, you also ensure that all stakeholders (from software engineers to sales colleagues) are always well-informed.

In conversations with engineers, you gather valuable insights from the field. Do you see opportunities to improve our machines or service processes? Then you feed those directly back to the engineering team. In this way, you actively contribute to continuous improvement.

At the end of the day, you ensure a good handover to customers. Everything clear, everything arranged, exactly as they can expect from LAN!

• Completed HBO (Higher Professional Education) degree in a technical direction
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a service role in mechanical engineering
