What you'll get
An entirely new supermarket experience. Huh, what?! Really. As soon as you start working at Lan Handling, you can never shop normally again. From that moment on, you'll be turning cans, jars, and meal bags everywhere. Just to check: yes, we also handle this product with our machines! But, of course, that is not all.
- A work environment full of opportunities to further develop yourself. Good idea? Training wishes? Discuss it with your supervisor and get to work.
- A workplace to frame. With delicious coffee.
- Flexible working hours, so you can make time to exercise, for your hobbies, or simply to take your children to school quietly in the morning.
- In addition to 25 vacation days, you also receive 13 ADV days. So you have plenty of time left to do more fun things alongside your work.
- An annual profit sharing scheme. Because we work from the idea that we do it together and everyone contributes to a positive result for the organization, you benefit from a financially successful year for the organization.
- Go driving a Trabant, go on a tandem to the Trappist monastery, or shine during one of the other fun activities organized by our staff association.
- Delicious Brabant treats when someone has a birthday... or when we have sold another cool project!
The role
Your day as a Financial Officer
What you'll do
You start your day with a check of the bank statements and outstanding payments. Have all payments been processed on time? Are the liquidity forecasts correct? Next, you dive into the financial administration. You process invoices, check project data, and ensure that all financial information is recorded correctly and completely.
Later in the morning, you analyze balance sheet positions and review the progress of projects from a financial perspective. You coordinate with project managers and colleagues from Service regarding administrative settlements and ensure that data is recorded accurately in the ERP system.
After lunch, you work on financial reports. You analyze fixed costs, check work in progress, and provide data that contributes to the monthly closing. You also provide support for reporting according to IFRS-15 and ensure that statutory obligations, such as VAT, VIES, CBS, and payroll tax filings, are carried out timely and correctly.
In between, you see opportunities to organize processes more intelligently. You think along about automation, improve financial workflows, and actively contribute to the further professionalization of the financial organization.
At the end of the day, you discuss your analyses with the team and ensure that the organization possesses up-to-date and reliable financial insights.
Requirements
- MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level;
- At least 2 years of experience within financial administration or a WO education if no comparable work experience
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably ISAH;
- Experience with Power BI is a plus;
- You are analytical, accurate, and independent;
- You possess a strong sense of responsibility and enjoy working together.
