The role
We help clients answer the question ‘how sovereign do we want to be? With knowledge of our client organizations, new technologies, and relevant laws and regulations, we advise clients on where digital infrastructure, technology, and data should be invested. As Senior Consultant Digital Sovereignty, you help organizations gain insight into these issues and make choices that align with their objectives and risk appetite.
What you'll do
- You help clients determine their approach regarding digital sovereignty and technological dependencies.
- You map out dependencies on technology, cloud, and software providers.
- You analyze risks, opportunities, and the consequences of laws and regulations for the IT landscape of organizations.
- You translate findings into concrete improvement measures, scenarios, and decision-making.
- You guide organizations in the implementation of chosen measures and transitions.
- You collaborate with colleagues from different disciplines to provide clients with integrated advice.
- You contribute to the further development of the team and our propositions regarding digital sovereignty.
You analyze dependencies on cloud, software, and technology providers and map their impact. Subsequently, you help clients determine what degree of digital autonomy is desirable and what measures are required for that. This can involve the choice of a cloud platform, limiting dependencies on specific providers, developing exit strategies, or researching European alternatives.
You work on strategic issues, but also on the translation into concrete actions. For example, you support clients in drafting scenarios, business cases, and implementation plans, and you guide the execution of chosen measures. Think, for instance, of conducting pilots with alternative solutions, developing migration paths, or sharpening governance and policy.
In projects, you work closely with colleagues from various disciplines, including cloud transformation, cybersecurity, legal, and sourcing. Together, you contribute to shaping solutions that are becoming increasingly urgent due to geopolitical tensions, technological dependencies, and increasing regulation. With an extensive training curriculum, you stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge and developments to advise our clients optimally.
As a senior consultant in the field of digital sovereignty, you are part of the Digital Transformation team. A dynamic, informal, and multidisciplinary team that helps clients realize their digital strategy. Additionally, you collaborate with colleagues from other teams specializing in cybersecurity, legal, outsourcing, and platforms. You work for diverse clients with complex challenges, allowing you to get the most out of yourself. You share your vision and expertise in the field of digital sovereignty with colleagues who have the same drive and curiosity.
