Senior AI Data Scientist

• You have a higher professional (HBO) or academic (WO) level of working and thinking and 4+ years of experience as an AI Data Scientist, AI Consultant, or in a comparable AI role;
• Strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and data analysis, and you know how to provide sound reasoning for model and evaluation choices;
• You work independently with Python for data processing and model development, use version control, and ensure reproducible experiments and testable code;
• You have experience in designing, building, and implementing end-to-end AI solutions in modern data and cloud environments;
• Experience with Generative AI and/or Agentic AI and collaborating with engineers on integration, deployment, and the further development of solutions;
• Advising clients and stakeholders, making complex subject matter understandable, and taking technical ownership;
• You are a strong communicator, curious, and mentor less experienced colleagues where necessary;
• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written (C1 level);
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, AI agents, GenAI evaluations, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, SQL, R, MLOps, and AI services in Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus. You do not need to master every tool, but you know how to make the right choices based on your experience.

• A permanent contract of 32, 36, or 40 hours with a compensation budget up to €8,200, gross per month incl. holiday allowance and mobility allowance;

As a Senior AI Data Scientist at Sogeti, you translate complex data and business challenges into scalable AI solutions that move organizations forward. You combine analytical depth with extensive experience in machine learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI. From strategy, use case, and experiment to implementation, monitoring, and improvement: you oversee the entire AI lifecycle, make well-founded choices, and ensure that solutions deliver demonstrable value.

Within our Data & AI community, you work together with Data Scientists, AI/ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and consultants on end-to-end AI solutions. Think of predictive models, document analysis, generative knowledge assistants, and AI agents that perform tasks independently and connect systems and data sources. As a senior, you are a technical sparring partner for clients and colleagues, actively share your expertise, and contribute to the development of the field within Sogeti.

As a Senior AI Data Scientist, you help organizations translate complex challenges into data and AI solutions with demonstrable value. You advise clients on the right approach, make well-founded choices in data, models, and technology, and are involved in the entire AI lifecycle.

Within our Data & AI community, you work together with Data Scientists, AI/ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and consultants on end-to-end AI solutions. You develop applications in the field of machine learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI, such as RAG, document processing, knowledge assistants, and AI agents that connect systems and data sources. In doing so, you ensure reliable, scalable, and responsibly deployed solutions that make a lasting impact for clients.

You make an impact within Sogeti's Data & AI community, where craftsmanship, ownership, and collaboration are central. You work together with experienced specialists, share knowledge during community days, open forums, and peer review sessions, and receive plenty of room to further develop yourself.
