Audit Internship - Enschede / Groningen / Zwolle

• Shadow audit clients and get acquainted with the audit profession.

• Supporting our audit teams with statutory audits. 

• Checking items within the annual accounts. 

• Maintaining good client relationships. 

• Mapping client processes and understanding complex organizations. 

As an intern, you truly become part of various teams at different clients. You assist with statutory audits and other financial assignments. You participate in the execution of, for example, interviews and sampling, and you go directly to the client. Through your involvement in client meetings, you will get to know the company, their processes, and their annual accounts well. Additionally, you will get to know your colleagues by participating in fun activities such as sports tournaments, training days, and drinks.

You can count on good guidance: professionally by the colleague coordinating the assignment at the client, and personally via a fixed internship supervisor who looks at your development together with you.

Good to know: the earliest possible start date for this position is October 1, 2027. This shadowing internship is carried out from Enschede or Zwolle. We would also love to get in contact with students from Groningen to look at the possibilities together, for example at the office in Zwolle.

• HBO or WO student in Accountancy, Business Economics, Business Administration, Business Administration, or another relevant field of study 

• Ambition to become a Chartered Accountant (RA) 

• You have an affinity with (generative) AI and are motivated to actively apply this technology in your daily work

• You are proficient in the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written

• Side activities are a plus
