As a thesis student within Audit at KPMG, you get the best of both worlds. You work on your graduation research regarding a relevant and current topic, while simultaneously gaining practical experience with various clients. You shadow our audit teams, perform analyses, conduct sampling, and attend client meetings. This provides you with in-depth insight into organizations, their processes, and financial reporting—valuable input for your thesis!

• You conduct interviews with clients to gain insight into their processes.
• You draft process descriptions and map out the associated risks.
• You analyze external factors that could pose risks to the client organization.
• You apply Data & Analytics to perform the audit of financial statements more smartly and efficiently.
• You perform substantive testing and sampling and assess the effectiveness of internal control measures.
