Flight KL691. Made possible in part by you, an allround logistics worker. You ensure that packages containing aircraft parts reach the correct recipients as quickly as possible. As a KLM employee, you contribute to unforgettable flights. Whatever you do.
You are responsible for a super smooth delivery of aircraft parts - to KLM and its customers. From small nuts and bolts to aircraft parts meters long: you manage the intake, storage, and shipment. You also keep the administration in order and ensure that the data in all our IT systems matches. And every day is different. One moment you are moving parts with a forklift or retriever, and the next you are climbing twenty meters up a crane to resolve a problem at the top.
Furthermore:
You will be working in the central warehouse of Component Services at Schiphol-Oost, in the Logistics department. Your home base will be hangar 14, but you will be deployed throughout the entire department. Therefore, the tasks and working hours in this position vary continuously: from physical to administrative work. For the first six months, you will be trained during day shifts. After that, you will work varying day, evening, and sometimes night shifts. Wherever you are stationed, you do it together with a diverse and enterprising team of forty colleagues. We also work continuously on the modernization of our processes.
You love a workday full of variety and are eager to learn, goal-oriented, and energetic. You tackle challenges, are customer-friendly, and communicate easily. You work with concentration and an eye for detail, are quality-oriented, and driven. You enjoy working together and are flexible. We will teach you the rest.
Furthermore:
Then don't wait any longer, and apply for the 'final boarding call' on 27-10-2026!
You do not need to write a motivation letter; during your online application, we will ask you several targeted questions. Your application procedure consists of two interviews and possibly an assessment and a security background check.
Candidates who are positively selected for the first interview will receive an email in which they can choose a suitable time slot for the interview themselves. This keeps the process fast and clear, and gives you control over your schedule. You will hear from us within two weeks after the vacancy closes.
You can log in to your personal candidate profile at any time. Here you will find the vacancy you applied for - even after it has closed - and a clear dashboard with any other ongoing applications within KLM, including status updates. Do you have the drive to grow further in this role? Then we look forward to your application.
Did you know that according to research, women are less likely to apply than men if they do not meet all the job requirements? A shame. Because 'the perfect candidate' is, as far as we are concerned, a myth. So, do you have the drive to still grow in some aspects of this role? We look forward to your application.
A reference check may be part of the application procedure.
If you want to know more about the position, please contact the hiring manager. Call or email the recruiter for questions about the application procedure.
