The role

Location: Houten

At Kersten Hulpmiddelen, it is all about people. As an Aid Cleaning Employee, you ensure that aids are clean, safe, and ready for use again.

You work with aids that are used daily by people who temporarily need extra support. Think of wheelchairs, high-low beds, shower chairs, toilet chairs, lifting aids, and other aids that help clients to live as independently as possible. These aids return to our location in Houten after use. You ensure they are in perfect condition again for the next client.

That might seem obvious, but your work makes a big difference. Because an aid that is cleaned and checked by you today can be at a client's home again tomorrow.

What you'll do

No two days are the same. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that returned aids are ready for the next user.

You receive aids that are returned from clients.
You clean and disinfect aids according to fixed working methods.
You check aids for damage and wear and tear.
You identify defects and report them to the technician.
You disassemble parts when necessary to clean the aids properly.
You ensure that aids are processed and stored neatly.
You keep your workplace clean, safe, and organized.
You work closely with colleagues from logistics and technical departments.

What you bring

You do not need to have experience with aids for this position. We will teach you that.
