• A completed HBO degree in a paramedical field
  (occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or movement technology)
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience within healthcare or social support

Salary: € 3,489.00 to a maximum of € 4,450.00 gross per month based on 38 hours per week.

At Kersten Hulpmiddelen, it is all about people. As a Medical Aids Advisor, you help clients to remain as independent and mobile as possible. You ensure that personal aids align optimally with the user's request for assistance. Through your expertise and personal approach, you make a daily difference for both clients and healthcare professionals.

In this role, you combine personal advice with technical and process-related coordination.

• You conduct intake interviews with clients and, if necessary, their caregivers or practitioners to determine the request for assistance and functional limitations.

• You perform fitting and advisory appointments for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and other personal mobility aids.

• You draw up a program of requirements and translate this into a suitable provision that aligns with the client's needs.

• You advise on custom solutions, accessories, and technical adjustments to increase the ease of use and self-reliance of the client.

• You coordinate with Wmo consultants, healthcare professionals, and involved colleagues.

• You ensure correct recording of advice, indications, and agreements in the system.

• You guide the process from application to delivery and monitor the progress of files.

• You assess complex requests for assistance and search for the best solution together with colleagues, suppliers, and practitioners.

• You support colleagues with technical or functional issues regarding aids.

• You identify recurring bottlenecks in aids, processes, or services and submit proposals for improvement.
