The role

For our location in Bergen op Zoom, we are looking for:

Employee Sanitation

What you'll do

As Employee Sanitation, you make an important contribution to improving food safety and hygiene at the plant. As a team, we work towards higher hygiene standards within the departments and across the entire outdoor area. In these departments, you perform cleaning and tidying tasks according to an established schedule.

How you'll work

You will be working in Bergen op Zoom and will be part of the Facility team, reporting to the Facility Supervisor. This is a full-time position, working in an extended two-shift rotation (2 x morning shift, 2 x afternoon shift, 2 days off).

What does your work look like?

You ensure the order and cleanliness of the factory and the factory grounds.
You ensure that we can produce food-safe products and are always ready to receive audits;;
You perform (visual) checks on the quality of cleaning.
You provide support during emergencies.
Ensuring your own safety and that of others while using high-pressure cleaners, hot water, and chemicals.
You record the performed tasks and checks accurately and completely.
You supervise and direct outsourced cleaners.

What do you bring?

Experience with cleaning tasks in the food industry is a plus.
Good knowledge of the Dutch language is a requirement; English is a plus.
You are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
You are a go-getter, meticulous, and you feel a sense of responsibility.
Willing to follow courses regarding safety, quality, and environment.
You enjoy rolling up your sleeves.
