Within the engineering department, various projects are underway involving the collection of a large amount of technical documentation, drawings, and asset information. To deliver projects in accordance with the agreed deliverables, it is important that this information is stored completely, correctly, and according to a fixed standard. The client is therefore looking for support in checking and structuring project files. The goal of the project is to ensure that the technical project documentation is clear, complete, and organized in the correct manner, so that projects can be properly completed and handed over.

As a project assistant, you will systematically review various project folders. You will check the existing asset documentation and technical drawings and rename and structure them according to the applicable standard. Is documentation missing? Then you will actively research what information is still needed and request it from, for example, suppliers. When project information is not clear or complete, you will coordinate this with the responsible project employee. As a result, you will work independently on your own files, while simultaneously having a lot of contact with various stakeholders both inside and outside the organization.

You will be working at a large industrial production organization in the Dinteloord region. You will support the engineering department, where various technical projects are prepared, executed, and administratively completed. Within this department, good and complete project documentation is important, so that information can be found quickly and correctly even after a project has been completed.

You will work in a technical environment where you will deal with, among other things, project documentation, asset information, technical drawings, and various internal and external stakeholders. You will regularly be in contact with project managers and suppliers to uncover missing information. This will give you insight not only into document management but also into how technical projects are organized and delivered within a large organization.
