Within Veolia Industriediensten (VID), your location will be Cleantech Park Arnhem (CPA). On this
site, Veolia is responsible for the supply of various utilities to the companies on the
park. The care for the complete installation, including wastewater treatment, is taken over
by Veolia. In a world that is actually locked down due to congestion and where there is an enormous need from
the market, we will have to be creative to ensure that sufficient electricity
is available on the park. Here, you will play a leading role with your knowledge and skills.
A tour through Veolia Industriediensten:
Veolia Industriediensten B.V. is an all-round technical service provider in the industrial sector. An
important activity is the conversion of energy in the broadest sense of the word. Veolia
Industriediensten is able to take full responsibility for the supply, maintenance,
optimization, and preservation in this regard. We can take the care for a complete installation
entirely off your hands. Our service package offers a wide range of possibilities that
are, of course, fully adapted to the wishes and needs of the installations on the one hand
and the specific requirements of each customer on the other.
As a (prospective) Project Engineer E, you will use your acquired technical knowledge and experience
of installations and infra to work on a design that meets the project requirements, in order to subsequently
be able to establish a budget. At CPA, we distribute, among other things, electricity. We are connected to the 50KV
network of Liander, and on the site lies a 10KV network of which we are the owner.
We manage the installation up to and including the low-voltage distributors of the transformers. Furthermore, we generate
energy by means of our own steam turbine with generator.
You will be responsible for the daily activities/disruptions; from the preparation
and drafting of the planning to the post-control of the periodic maintenance work that
falls within the machinery park in your field of expertise.
A number of your activities are:
- Maintaining, replacing, and if necessary expanding the existing (high-) voltage network;
- Being responsible for the low voltage;
- Making offers for customers;
- Performing on-call duty;
- Drafting work descriptions to have offers made by third parties; - Switching transformers;
- Complying with all SHEQ regulations and reporting deviating situations to contribute
to a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly working environment;
- Ensuring correct engineering of new and existing projects with
associated responsibilities such as performing risk analyses and making
calculations and quotes;
- Drafting reports based on malfunctions, activities, and other occurring
processes;
- Monitoring the maintenance and inspection process of the entire installation;
- Providing advice for the purpose of improving the process or activities.
