As a Capacity Specialist, you ensure that our mechanized warehouse has the right capacity in the short, medium, and long term. You translate commercial forecasts into concrete capacity plans, inflow targets, and strategic choices regarding the workforce. In doing so, you look not only at the number of employees, but also at robot capacity, productivity, inflow and outflow, and the contract mix in the warehouse.

You are the link between Operations, the Forecasting Team, and Recruitment, ensuring that capacity plans align with Coolblue's growth ambitions and the operational reality of the warehouse. You identify risks and opportunities in a timely manner and initiate actions to ensure that we always have the right capacity available at the right costs and with the desired flexibility.

• You translate forecasts, commercial plans, and operational developments into a strategic capacity plan for the warehouse (short, medium, and long term).
• You determine inflow targets for Recruitment based on expected growth, outflow, productivity, and contract mix.
• You analyze data and develop models to predict and improve capacity and flexibility.
• You identify bottlenecks in capacity, workforce set-up, or contract mix in a timely manner and develop scenarios and solutions.
• You initiate and lead projects that contribute to the right balance between required and available capacity.
• You advise on the optimal contract mix and flexibility of the workforce.
• You coordinate capacity plans with the Forecasting Team, Recruitment, WFM, and Operations, ensuring that everyone is working towards the same targets.
• You report periodically on capacity, risks, and developments and act as a sparring partner for operations.
