• GRC strategy and roadmap: You will develop and realize a multi-year roadmap for Governance, Risk & Compliance, aligned with our business strategy, international activities, and changing laws and regulations.

• Leadership and team development: You will lead the GRC team, coach colleagues, and support the further development of the team. You will provide clear direction and help less experienced colleagues with their professional growth.

• Compliance and regulation: You will translate regulations such as NIS2 and the Dutch Cybersecurity Act into practical policies, controls, training, and actions within the organization.

• Certifications and audits: You will lead or coordinate certification processes, gap analyses, internal and external audits, and the structured follow-up of findings.

• International governance: You will support compliance within our international organization and work together with stakeholders in the Netherlands, France, Canada, and the United States, and with our parent company Ubisoft.

• Practical support: You are willing to contribute operationally yourself where necessary, while maintaining the strategic and leadership focus of your role.

As Senior Risk & Compliance Manager at i3D.net, you will shape governance, risk management, and compliance regarding information security within our international organization.

Managing global infrastructure for gaming and business customers carries great responsibilities. Our customers trust us to protect their services and data. At the same time, regulations such as NIS2 and frameworks such as ISO 27001 require us to demonstrate that our controls are well-designed and effective in practice.

You will determine the strategic direction, advise senior management, and further expand our Governance, Risk & Compliance function. In doing so, you will remain sufficiently involved in daily operations to understand what is happening within the organization and translate requirements into practical, workable solutions.

In this influential role, you will help i3D.net strengthen information security, prepare for future developments in laws and regulations, and build a scalable GRC function for the years to come.

At i3D.net, you will work with or contribute to:

• Information security: ISO 27001 and the further development of our information security management system (ISMS).

• Privacy and data protection: ISO 27701 and relevant privacy requirements.

• Assurance: SOC 2, preferably with experience with SOC 2 Type II.

• Risk management and regulation: NIS2, the Dutch Cybersecurity Act, and other relevant European and national requirements.

• Additional standards: Experience with NEN 7510, ISO 9001, or ISO 50001 is valuable.

• Audits and controls: Internal and external audits, testing of controls, gap analyses, risk registers, and managing evidence.

• You have drafted a clear GRC roadmap supported by the board, including priorities, responsibilities, required capacity, and measurable objectives.

• You have strengthened the ISMS and ensured that policies, controls, documentation, and evidence are well-maintained.

• You have successfully supported key certification and audit processes and established a structured approach for following up on findings.

• You have clarified the responsibilities and collaboration between GRC, Security, Technology, and senior management.

• You have further developed the GRC team and helped colleagues to work with more confidence and independence.

• You have improved how information security and compliance risks are explained to the board and translated into business decisions.

• You have prepared i3D.net and SmartDC for relevant developments in laws and regulations, including NIS2 and the Dutch Cybersecurity Act.

• You have grown into a trusted and expert advisor for senior management and stakeholders throughout the entire organization.

• Experience: You have approximately ten years or more of relevant experience within Governance, Risk & Compliance, information security, security management, audit, or a closely related field.

• Leadership: You have demonstrable experience in managing and developing professionals within GRC, information security, compliance, or risk management.

• Knowledge of regulation: You have sound knowledge of NIS2 and can translate legal requirements into proportional and workable measures for the organization.

• Communication: You are fluent in English and can clearly explain complex risks to technical teams, operational colleagues, customers, and senior management.

• Certifications: CISM is strongly preferred due to its broad focus on management and governance. CISSP or similar qualifications at a senior level are also highly relevant.

• Additional expertise: Experience with SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27701, NEN 7510, ISO 9001, ISO 50001, or working within a certification or auditing organization is a plus.
