What we're looking for
You are BIG-registered as a psychiatrist.
The role
Do you want to work in a friendly team, with clients with varied issues and plenty of room to develop? Then apply for this position as a psychiatrist at the Personality Disorders and Anxiety and Depression outpatient clinics in Haarlem.
About the department
You will be working at the generalist Personality Disorders/Anxiety and Depression outpatient clinic in Haarlem.
You will work together in an informal, engaged multidisciplinary team. The team consists of a psychiatrist, clinical psychologists, GZ-psychologists, basic psychologists, nurses, therapists, and various colleagues in training such as a GIOS/PIOG/VIOS.
You will deal with a rich diversity of clients. In addition to the nature of the issues, factors such as age, (cultural) background, social circumstances, and language proficiency also vary greatly.
The treatment offering consists of providing evidence-based treatments according to the guidelines, both individually and in a group. This includes cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, schema focused therapy (SFT), Transdiagnostic Modular Therapy (TMT), and pharmacotherapy.
At GGZ inGeest, we also treat clients with trauma in every team, according to our vision Trauma First – even in cases of comorbidity. The individual trauma treatments in Care Path I consist of EMDR, IE, and ImRS. Care Path II - the trauma train - is an intensive treatment program for clients with multiple trauma, the so-called trauma train. Colleagues from different teams and clusters work together in this and find it fun, educational, and interesting: "It provides variety and is a nice way of working together".
There is intensive collaboration with the academic department which, in addition to training, has an important task in academic patient care and in setting up and conducting scientific research.
