At GGZ inGeest, you will work as a gz-psychologist in the FACT team Slotervaart with clients with severe psychiatric disorders. Together with a multidisciplinary team, you provide recovery-oriented psychological treatment. Further develop yourself and contribute to innovative treatment methods. Your heart, knowledge, and experience are urgently needed.

• The FACT team treats adults (up to 65 years old) with a severe psychiatric disorder (SMI) and support needs in various areas of life, such as living, working, meaning, health, finances, and social contacts.

• Work is carried out according to the F-ACT method: an intensive form of outpatient, community-based treatment from a recovery-oriented perspective by various people working together in one team. Treatments take place in the client's own environment as much as possible.

• Active efforts are always made to collaborate with the client, their loved ones, and chain partners. Our starting point remains to find alignment with the client's goals and wishes.

• Within FACT, work is carried out in multidisciplinary teams consisting of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, gz-psychologists, medical doctors, outpatient nurses/coordinators, social workers, IPS job coaches, and trajectory coordinators. The team has short lines of communication with our chain partners and colleagues from other departments within GGZ inGeest.

• As a gz-psychologist at FACT, you have the role of lead clinician and always work together with the multidisciplinary team and referrers. You participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment plan discussions.

• You focus on performing treatments for clients with severe psychiatric, psychosocial, and therefore often complex social problems. This includes treating various disorders such as psychosis, anxiety and mood disorders, and diagnosing and treating (complex) traumas.

• You apply appropriate forms of treatment, including EMDR, ACT, and CBT, that are most suitable for this target group.

• As an expert, you offer consultation and advice to other team members, such as psychiatrists, outpatient nurses, and social workers, regarding complex cases. You share your knowledge and offer support in developing and implementing treatment strategies.

• Within GGZ inGeest, you are part of a group of FACT psychologists who meet regularly to discuss treatments and cases, thereby promoting the exchange of experience and knowledge.

• At GGZ inGeest, in every team we also treat clients with trauma, according to our vision Trauma First – even with comorbidity. 
  Do you want more depth? Then you can participate in the trauma train: an intensive treatment program for clients with multiple trauma, the so-called trauma train. Colleagues from different teams and clusters work together in this and find it fun, educational, and interesting: "It provides variety and is a nice way of working together".

• You are BIG registered as a gz-psychologist.

• Within GGZ inGeest, training to become a clinical psychologist is offered.

• You will receive a permanent employment contract immediately.

• The position is scaled in FWG 65 CAO GGZ.
