The role

Shape the care of tomorrow together with us!

Are you looking for a FACT team where experience, trust, and humor go hand in hand? At FACT Hoofddorp Zuid, you will receive a great deal of professional freedom, work together with dedicated colleagues from almost all disciplines, and treat clients in a region where the openness of the polder and the amenities of the city come together.

As a psychiatrist, you look beyond the diagnosis. Together with clients, their loved ones, and chain partners, you work from a recovery-oriented perspective toward a life with as much independence, control, and meaning as possible.

Where will you work?

The FACT team treats adults up to 65 years old with severe psychiatric disorders (SMI) and requests for assistance in various areas of life, such as housing, work, health, finances, meaning, and social contacts.

We work according to the F-ACT methodology: intensive outpatient, community-based care where treatment takes place in the client's own living environment as much as possible. In doing so, we work closely with clients, their loved ones, and chain partners. The wishes and goals of the client always form the starting point.

FACT Hoofddorp consists of two multidisciplinary teams of approximately ten colleagues each. Almost all disciplines are represented within the teams, including psychiatrists, GZ-psychologists, outpatient nurses, social workers and IPS job coaches. Each team works in its own part of Haarlemmermeer, but they collaborate intensively and find each other easily.

In addition to the content of the work, it is precisely the team that makes this position special. You will find yourself in an environment where much experience is present and colleagues enjoy sharing knowledge with one another. There is plenty of room to think along, innovate, and develop yourself. Different insights are valued and open conversation is central.

The atmosphere is informal and engaged. Hard work is done, but there is also a lot of laughter. Colleagues are there for one another, give each other trust, and take ownership of their work. As a result, you get plenty of room to make decisions independently and show initiative.

Working in Haarlemmermeer means working in a region where tranquility, space, and urban amenities come together. Long polder roads, lots of greenery, and a diverse client population ensure a pleasant working environment. You treat clients with both metropolitan issues and requests for help from the surrounding villages.

You will work from our Spaarnepoort location in Hoofddorp, near the Drie Merenweg. This makes Amsterdam, Haarlem, and Amstelveen excellently accessible.
