The role
At Royal van Lent Shipyards on the Kaag, we build unique superyachts from 70 to 100 meters, fully customized to the client's wishes. These yachts are known for their innovation, beauty, and reliability.
What you'll do
You will become part of the Construction department. This department is responsible for various assembly activities on board the yachts. This can involve components and installations that are part of the superyacht's basic construction (deck hatches, mast components, anchors, sliding doors, and more) or the so-called entertainment systems on board (swimming pools, jacuzzis, hot tubs, and more).
As a Superyacht Fitter, you are responsible for the following activities:
- Preparing mechanical and assembly work in the workshop for commissioning on board.
- Assembling and installing various components and systems according to drawings.
- Assembling the mast of the superyacht.
When something runs differently than planned or a technical challenge arises, you know how to propose and apply the right solution through your experience.
