Apprentice Lacquer Processor (BBL) | Moordrecht

At De Klerk Binnenbouw in Moordrecht (Zuid-Holland), as a Lacquer Processor at our company, you will get the chance to work on the finishing of luxury yachts. You will be working in the Spray Painting department, where you will deliver the final piece of craftsmanship to transform furniture and interior components to the highest quality level. As soon as the products move from the production department to the spray painting department, you are the one who finishes them with care and precision. You will use various spraying techniques and perform manual tasks such as sanding, filling, and staining, all using (hand) tools and equipment in the spray booths.

You will work under the guidance of an experienced All-round Sprayer, but will receive plenty of room to develop yourself. During the working day, you ensure that the end product meets the required quality standards. The process of spraying and polishing the components is an important final step in the production of furniture for luxury yachts. After completing your tasks, you ensure that the end product is handed over neatly and on time to the next department.

• Morning: You start the day together with your colleagues. After a short team meeting, you get to work preparing the workpieces: you place the furniture and components in the spray booth, check the quality, and ensure the correct finishing materials are ready.
• Afternoon: The workpieces are cleaned, filled, and sanded. After that, you get to work applying stain, color lacquer, or clear lacquer - all with precision and craftsmanship.
• End of the day: You check the final result, finish the product perfectly, and ensure that everything is ready for the logistical handover.
