Shift Technician (Mechanical)

• An MBO-3 or 4 diploma in mechatronics, mechanics, or electronics.
• Strong communication skills and good proficiency in Dutch.

While candidates with a relevant diploma and/or work experience are preferred, this position is also open to anyone with strong mechanical or electrotechnical skills who has the ambition and the will to learn. 💷Gross annual salary: between € 65,000.- and € 74,000.-

Do you want to become part of the Mars family and get to work in 4-shifts at "The Home of Sauce"? In this Food factory, a group of passionate people works on global A-brands. In this production process, malfunctions sometimes occur that must be resolved as quickly as possible.

In this role, you are responsible for identifying and resolving these mechanical and electrical faults. In our factory, we produce sauces that you will mainly see in England, Ireland and Scandinavia: BEN'S ORIGINAL®, SUZI WAN®, and DOLMIO®.

🔧Your responsibilities are:

• Mainly resolving mechanical (drive technology) malfunctions. Affinity with electrical (components, PLCs, SCADA) malfunctions is a plus.
• Evaluating, prioritizing, and potentially escalating malfunction reports during your shift.
• Preparing reports on malfunctions, causes, and prevention for the benefit of operators and team leaders in production.
• Performing planned activities and supervising activities carried out by external parties.
• Accurately registering performed and planned activities, results, and follow-up in the SAP PM system.
• Working safely and food-safely at all times and ensuring that colleagues and operators also comply with these safety regulations.
