What we're looking for

  • An MBO 3 or 4 diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar technical field.
  • At least several years of experience as an Electrical Technician.
  • The ability to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and an eye for quality.
  • Good command of the English and/or Dutch language.
  • A valid B driving license.

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

  • A gross monthly salary between €3,500 and €4,000, depending on experience.
  • A full-time position (40 hours per week) with overtime and shift allowances.
  • 40 leave days per year (27 vacation days + 13 ADV days).
  • Employment conditions according to the Metalelektro collective labor agreement.

More than a job: a mission

We are currently looking for an Electrical Technician willing to work at various project locations. In this role, you will work on diverse projects, ranging from short-term repair assignments to long-term overhaul and renovation projects. You will work on-site, both independently and as part of a team.

What you'll do

  • Performing electrotechnical maintenance and modifications on rail vehicles.
  • Installing, testing, and repairing electrical systems and components.
  • Working with techniques such as torquing, crimping, cable routing, cabling, and panel building. (Required certifications can be obtained through Alstom.)
  • Collaborating with customer teams and internal teams on-site.
  • Performing project-based activities with a strong focus on quality and safety.
  • Working with adhesive and sealant applications according to EAB standards (plus).
  • Experience with Huck rivets and the application of paint systems is a plus.
