Your new job | About your key responsibilities

As HR Manager EY-Parthenon, you will fulfill a challenging and versatile HR role within one of the most dynamic parts of EY. You are responsible for the HR support of EY-Parthenon, EY's strategy and transaction practice, and you will work together with managers, partners, and the Talent Leader to realize our ambition: Let's empower people to become Exceptional You.

Through the combination of strategic issues, direct collaboration with partners, and plenty of room for your own initiative, this is an excellent role for an HR professional who wants to make an impact within a fast-growing and ambitious organization.

This is a role with a lot of responsibility, visibility, and entrepreneurship. You will be given the space to operate independently, translate HR policy into practice, and actively contribute ideas regarding the further development of the organization.

In this role:

• You will be the sparring partner for business leaders and the Talent Leader on diverse HR topics, such as performance management, workforce planning, talent development, mobility, absenteeism, turnover, and compensation issues.
• You will advise on both operational and tactical HR issues within an ambitious and fast-growing practice.
• You will play an important role in the execution of the full employee lifecycle, including appraisal rounds, promotions, salary proposals, development tracks, and mobility issues.
• You will guide organizational changes and support managers with complex HR cases and change processes.
• You will analyze HR data and management information and translate insights into concrete actions and advice for the business.
• You will contribute to strategic HR projects within EY and EY-Parthenon, aimed at strengthening the employee experience and realizing organizational objectives.
• You will identify opportunities for improvement and take the initiative to further optimize HR processes.
• You will switch effortlessly between daily HR challenges and strategic issues that contribute to the further growth of EY-Parthenon.
• You will build strong relationships with stakeholders within the business and work closely with colleagues from the national HR team.

Your location is Amsterdam (Zuidas). Additionally, you are willing to be present monthly at our office in The Hague and to travel occasionally to Rotterdam, Zwolle, and Eindhoven.

You will be part of the HR team of EY Netherlands, but you will work primarily for EY-Parthenon. EY-Parthenon supports organizations with their most complex strategic issues regarding growth, transformation, transactions, and value creation. By combining strategy, execution, and deep sector knowledge, EY-Parthenon supports clients in realizing sustainable growth and lasting impact.

What makes this position special is the combination of independence and collaboration. You are the go-to HR contact for EY-Parthenon and therefore have a lot of ownership and influence over everything related to HR within this practice. At the same time, you are never alone: you work closely with experienced HR colleagues within EY and can always spar with the HR Business Partner and HR Talent Lead.

Additionally, you will work in an environment where lines of communication are short and you interact directly with senior stakeholders. This gives you not only visibility into important decision-making but also allows you to actually exert influence on the development of the organization and its employees.

A completed HBO or WO degree, preferably in the direction of Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a similar field of study.

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably within HR or HR consulting.
• You are a good listener, possess strong advisory skills, and are a strong communicator. This enables you to advise effectively and build lasting relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• You have a proactive, client- and result-oriented attitude and are able to build effective working relationships within an international organization with a partnership structure.
• You are analytically strong and approach tasks independently, proactively, and in a structured manner. This allows you to set priorities and deliver quality in a dynamic environment.
• You have excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
• You possess an agile mindset and are flexible and adaptable in your way of thinking and acting. You are open to change, constantly seek improvement, and value teamwork.
• You know how to function independently in a dynamic, demanding environment, but also ask the right questions in a timely manner or escalate when necessary.
• Customer focus and a strong personality are important qualities, combined with enthusiasm, energy, and drive.
