What we're looking for
- HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of work and thinking or MLO (Middle Level Laboratory Education) with extensive relevant work experience.
- At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Experience with audits is required.
- Knowledge of work processes is a plus.
- Well-developed analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Affinity with quality assurance and converting findings into improvement proposals.
- Being able to bring structure to your own work and that of others, maintaining an overview, and setting priorities.

The role
As a QA Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring and improving our quality processes according to ISO 17025 (required) and ISO 9001, working within the Quality Assurance department alongside 3 driven colleagues. You will take the initiative to optimize existing procedures within and between office and laboratory departments and are able to clearly oversee the consequences thereof. Additionally, you will perform internal audits on our processes and report to the QA Manager.
What you'll do
- Keeping the management system up to date according to ISO 17025 and ISO 9001.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal procedures and the management system, including proposing optimizations to the QA Manager.
- Assessing proficiency testing and making improvement proposals for laboratory processes.
- Performing quality audits and initiating and following up on improvement projects.
- Acting as the first point of contact regarding quality and handling internal/external communication.
- Ensuring optimal production and efficiency through collaboration and flexibility.
- Safeguarding the quality of all processes through error-free work, adhering to agreements, and thorough complaint handling.
- Supervising personal and general safety according to regulations.
