To expand our team at Eurofins Analytico, we are looking for a Pretreatment Group Leader Evening/Night Shift. In this role, you will lead a team of approximately 7 to 8 employees and actively participate in the department yourself. You are responsible for the smooth running of daily activities and ensure that quality, safety, and planning are central.

You will work the evening and night shifts from 17:45 to 02:15 and will be the first point of contact for your team as well as an important sparring partner for the department head.

As Pretreatment Group Leader, you ensure that the various workflows within the department run efficiently. You guide employees, monitor the quality of the work, and ensure that the correct priorities are set.

Your duties include:

• Daily directing, guiding, and coaching a team of approximately 7 to 8 employees;
• Drafting and monitoring personnel and work schedules;
• Setting priorities between different workflows, such as Soil & Water, PFAS, and Specials;
• Supervising quality, safety, and compliance with work procedures;
• Actively contribute within the department, including tasks such as:
  • Weighing samples;
  • Pipetting;
  • Pre-treating samples;
  • Checking quality samples;
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the process;
• Stimulating cooperation and development within the team;
• Conducting progress, development, and performance reviews;
• Initiating and implementing improvements in work processes;
• Monitoring equipment and maintaining contact with suppliers and technicians in consultation with the department head.
• A varied role with both leadership and operational responsibilities;
