Civil Site Manager

• A completed MBO or HBO education in the field of civil engineering or similar;

• Work experience gained as a site manager in civil projects;

• You have experience managing multiple small or medium-sized projects and maintain the overall overview. You have demonstrably made a difference within organizations and are ultimately responsible for all GROTK aspects in execution;

• You have an affinity for working in an industrial environment, which means that safety is paramount and that you are bound by rules and protocols;

• Your communication is clear and concise. You reward good work from your team, but you also address your colleagues on what can be improved.

• The salary for this position is between € 5,639.81 and € 7,049.76 gross per month (based on 40 hours)*, excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience;

• On top of the salary comes a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to CAO Bouw & Infra);

• With a view to a long-term relationship, we offer you an indefinite period contract immediately; 

• 43 leave days according to the CAO Bouw & Infra. Of these days, 13 are paid out into your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;

As a civil site manager at Dura Vermeer Haven & Industrie, you will lead the execution of leading civil projects within industrial environments. Our projects range from formwork, reinforcement, or concrete pouring for tank terminals, substations, or logistics hubs. You ensure that everything runs smoothly, from preparation to completion.

From the very first preparations, you are closely involved in the project and assemble your project team. You draw up realistic schedules, ensure a well-thought-out safety plan, and create clear work instructions that your team can get to work with. You maintain the overview, manage progress strictly, and ensure that everyone knows what needs to happen and when. In doing so, you ensure that the project team can perform at their best. Furthermore, you maintain short lines of communication with the project manager and client, so that everything runs smoothly and no one is faced with surprises. Safety is always your number one priority. You ensure that everyone can work safely on the project and goes home healthy at the end of the day.
