Just do it, and do it well. That is what they need in Stadshagen. And that is exactly where you come in. As a construction site manager, you are the one who makes the difference on the construction site: you ensure that everything outside is correct, every single day.
This will be your job
As a construction site manager, you are right in the middle of the project. You lead foremen and skilled tradespeople, maintain oversight, and ensure that the work simply flows well. Safe, tight, and without hassle. Because an agreement is an agreement.
With your experience, you know exactly what is going on. You have a heart for construction, understand the technology, and have an eye for the people around you. You work closely with the operations manager and are the fixed point of contact on the construction site. Communicating clearly, switching gears quickly, and strengthening one another: that is how you keep the project moving. You lead with a coaching approach, bring out the best in your team, and ensure that everyone gets better every day. At the same time, you keep a sharp eye on progress, quality, safety, and costs. You think ahead, take responsibility, and effortlessly bring your colleagues along in what is needed.
Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can notice that. In how we work together, how we look out for one another, and how we build with an eye on future generations. Since 1855, we have been building the Netherlands, in residential construction, non-residential construction, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the foundation for this.
With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we belong to the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, for us, it is not about those figures. It is about people. About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of - iconic and close to home - and contributing to solutions for societal issues.
Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with engaged people. That is why we invest in good employerhood and a working environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and, together with us, make more.
