Asphalt screed operator

As an asphalt screed operator at Dura Vermeer Infra Asfalt, you will work in a close-knit crew on various asphalt projects. From highways to a bicycle path, or an airport; you will encounter it all. Together with the asphalt crew, you will work on beautiful projects in the North Holland and Flevoland regions.

As a screed operator, you will come to work within Dura Vermeer Infra Asfalt in the North West region. You will join an asphalt crew of enthusiastic colleagues from various backgrounds, but with a shared passion for asphalt. During your work, you will deal with different projects, from major motorways to a village street and from an airport to a wind farm, you will encounter it all!

Dura Vermeer Infra Asfalt has the ambition to move towards emission-free paving and has started this year with one of the first emission-free asphalt sets. You can therefore become the screed operator of the first emission-free asphalt paver.

Together with your team, you ensure that the highest quality asphalt is laid every single day! Together with your colleagues, you apply the correct layer thickness as agreed with the client. In this, you communicate extensively with the asphalt workers and roller operators. Your input and ideas are important for the success of the team. The lines within the team are therefore short, and you speak openly and directly with one another. Additionally, you contribute to a safe working environment for both your direct colleagues and the surroundings. The responsibility for the machine also partly lies in your hands.

• You have gained experience as an asphalt screed operator;

• You have completed the MBO education to become an asphalt screed operator.

  In accordance with the CAO Construction & Infra, a medical examination may be part of the application procedure. For this position, the examination is mandatory if you are starting work in construction and infra for the first time, or if you have not worked as an employee in construction and infra in the past 3 years AND an entry examination has not previously taken place for the same or a similar position for which you are applying.

• The salary for this position is the gross guaranteed wage according to function group C/D: € 3,398.40 - 3,628.80 per 4-week period (based on 40 hours).

• In addition, you can count on a performance bonus per period, depending on your work experience.

• On top of your salary comes a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (4.51% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement).

• 48 leave days per year according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. The value of 18 of these days is deposited into the Time Savings Fund.

• A smartphone.

• Excellent secondary employment conditions such as standard insurance for all employee risks, pension schemes, an extra supplement in case of disability, and a contribution towards trade union membership.

• You will be provided with a company car and travel hours are reimbursed according to the collective labor agreement.
