Investigative journalism at Trouw
At Trouw, colleagues get the chance to (temporarily) conduct research or carry out a longer project. We make time to dive deeper into subjects, for narrative journalism, for investigating complex topics, or for exposing societal injustices. High-profile examples include research into the consequences of deep-sea mining, the project about the financing of churches, the research into the world of young Muslims, and the Sustainable 100. The priorities of Trouw are meaning, sustainability, and health.

Do you want to become an investigative journalist at Trouw?
Have you just graduated and are you interested in investigative journalism? Then apply to Trouw. At Trouw, you can learn a lot from experienced journalists. You will also join the bi-weekly research meeting of editors from various sub-editorials, led by editor-in-chief Wendelmoet Boersema. This is where plans are devised and experiences are exchanged.
