HR Intern

Do you want to discover how versatile HR is in practice and, above all, gain experience within recruitment? From searching for new colleagues and coordinating interviews to onboarding, training, and events. During this internship, you will be fully involved and will get plenty of room to take initiative!

From 1 February 2027, we at KWS Amsterdam-Utrecht in Diemen have a position for an enthusiastic HR intern to work within the team.

During your internship, you will be fully involved within our HR team. You will be given the space to take initiative, take on responsibility, and get to know many different aspects of the HR profession in a short time.

You will be working on things such as:

• Searching for and approaching potential new colleagues

• Screening candidates and coordinating interviews

• Writing catchy vacancy texts

• Organizing events, such as the 100-day lunch for new colleagues

• Writing our HR update

• Thinking along about onboarding and a good start for new colleagues

• Supporting training and the development of colleagues

• Thinking along about improving HR processes

In addition, during your internship, you will gain knowledge about topics such as inflow, internal movement, outflow, and absenteeism. This way, you will discover in a short time how many different sides the beautiful HR profession has!

You will join the HR team of KWS Amsterdam-Utrecht. From our office in Diemen, we work every day on the health, safety, and job satisfaction of our 360 colleagues in the region. Our team consists of three HR advisors: Jacqueline, Daphne, and Nadia, HR manager Elsemieke, and recruiter Marjolein. Due to our different roles and expertise, you will get the chance to discover many sides of the HR profession.

Within the team, you will get the space to learn, to work, and to further develop yourself. Not an internship where you only observe, but an internship where you are truly part of the team.

Within KWS Amsterdam-Utrecht, we work on various projects in the region. During your internship, you will get a look behind the scenes at one of the largest infrastructure builders in the Netherlands and discover what role HR plays within such an organization.

We work hard, but we find it at least as important that there is room to learn, ask questions, and have fun together.
