What we're looking for

You are currently pursuing a degree at HBO or WO level;
You have an affinity with finance;
You are an expert at processing data and complex information;
You are proactive, hands-on, and bursting with good ideas to improve internal communication;
You have strong communication skills, can write well, and have an excellent command of the Dutch language;
You are not afraid to pick up the phone to speak to people who can provide you with the right information;
You know how to put together a beautiful PowerPoint presentation;
You are looking for an internship starting from February 2027 for at least 20 weeks;
You are available at least 4 days per week.

Additionally, CASt organizes monthly Go & See's to get acquainted with different departments within ABN AMRO, allowing you to get to know the bank even better. You will also have the opportunity to further develop your hard skills through the ABN AMRO Academy by means of challenging e-learnings. The internship allowance for an HBO or WO internship is €750 per month (based on a 36-hour work week).

The role

The Sustainability Expertise Team is a relatively new, small, and driven team within ABN AMRO Mees Pierson. Our goal is to help our clients in the sustainability transition. We are looking for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn student to do an internship and help us in the field of internal communication. A great deal is already happening in the field of sustainability within ABN AMRO. For instance, much knowledge is available, there are many great products to accelerate sustainability, and there are many enthusiastic colleagues. We are looking for someone who can help bring all these wonderful initiatives and opportunities together through clear internal communication. You will work in a small, growing team with great colleagues.

Are you a curious and entrepreneurial HBO or WO student with an interest in communication and a hands-on mentality? Do you want to work on accelerating sustainability within ABN AMRO Mees Pierson? Then start as an intern at ABN AMRO MeesPierson and contribute to its strategy to become more sustainable. In doing so, you will not only help our wealthy clients move forward, but you will also learn an enormous amount yourself.

What you'll do

The work will be very diverse. One day you will have to independently gather information within the organization and convert that information into clear, easy-to-read texts. The next day you will help create beautiful sustainability slides that are used by private bankers to present to their clients. You will think along about communication tools that we can deploy and potentially help execute them as well. Our team is small, so the work will be diverse.
