What we offer you
▸ The position has a salary between € 3,324.57 and € 4,909.65 gross per month based on 36 hours per week. Your salary will be scaled based on your experience and is based on the collective labor agreement (CAO) for broadcasting personnel.
▸ A fixed-term contract.

The employment conditions are in accordance with the CAO for broadcasting personnel. Within that CAO, this includes:
▸ 8% holiday allowance and a 6% December bonus;
▸ Annual periodic salary increases up to the maximum of your scale;
▸ 200 leave hours per year, based on 36 hours per week;
▸ In addition to the regular training budget, there is a personal career budget;
▸ Collective pension scheme (2/3 paid by BNNVARA);
▸ Health insurance allowance of € 50.00 gross per month.

As a political editor at Pauw & De Wit, you will work in the thick of the news. You will follow political developments closely and know exactly which themes are occupying the Netherlands, from Hague debates to social movements beyond. Together with your colleagues, you will devise topics that matter, make the right guest selections, and prepare sharp conversations with our presenters.

This is what you will do
▸ Devising current and original angles for political and social topics.
▸ Approaching and preparing guests: from ministers to opinion makers and experts.
▸ Conducting in-depth research and providing information for the producer and presenters.
▸ Collecting visual material and quotes to support items.
▸ Setting up the conversational line for the broadcast.
▸ Maintaining a broad journalistic network in political The Hague and beyond.
