As a Nurse Practitioner at the Nederlandse Obesitas Kliniek (NOK), you play an important role in the medical guidance of patients with severe obesity. You guide them during their journey toward weight reduction and weight stabilization and, with your medical expertise, contribute to a safe, effective, and personalized treatment.

You perform medical check-ups, manage diagnostics during screening, and request examination results and findings, which you subsequently assess and interpret. Additionally, you guide patients individually and in groups, prescribe medication, and coordinate with surgeons and other medical specialists where necessary. You are also an important point of contact for patients and colleagues regarding specific medical questions.

• You have an affinity with the target group and an eye for the personal situation and needs of patients.

• You are enthusiastic, have strong communication skills, and know how to guide patients in a pleasant and professional manner.

• You are flexible, committed, and enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team.

• You have several years of relevant work experience and know how to apply your knowledge and expertise for high-quality patient care.
