Finance & Reporting Assistant

In the role of Finance & Reporting Assistant, you are an important link between the entrepreneur and his or her financial administration. You ensure that figures are not only correct, but also tell a story. Thanks to your work, the entrepreneur gains timely insight into financial performance and can make informed decisions.

You work in an environment where there is room for development and where collaboration is central. No two days are the same: you switch between different tasks and clients and actively contribute to improving processes.

In this role, you combine accuracy with insight. You ensure that the administration is correct and that the outcomes are understandable and usable.

Specifically, you will be involved in:

• Processing and checking financial transactions

• Handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

• Preparing and submitting VAT returns

• Preparing financial reports and analyzing results

In addition, you look beyond just the numbers. You identify deviations, think along regarding improvements, and contribute to an efficient setup of administrative processes.

• You have completed an MBO or HBO education in a financial field

• You have experience within administration, bookkeeping, financial advice, or financial control

• Experience with tools such as Exact Online, Smartbooqing, Continuous Auditor, Visionplanner, or FiscaalGemak is a plus

• You work accurately and have an eye for detail

• You communicate clearly and switch easily with colleagues and clients

• You think in solutions and dare to take initiative

• You work independently, but also actively seek collaboration
