Do you want to build AI software that doesn't just sit on a shelf, but is used daily by accountants, financial specialists, and clients? As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will work on the technical foundation of CynthAI and ensure that smart AI solutions run reliably, scalably, and securely in production.

You will join the product team behind CynthAI: our own AI platform where data, documents, workflows, dashboards, and generative AI come together. You will not be working on isolated proof-of-concepts or experiments in a lab environment, but on software that is actively deployed within Crowe Foederer and at our clients.

You transform complex technical challenges into reliable, scalable software and contribute ideas regarding architecture, quality, and the development of colleagues.

Within the team, you play an important role in the further development of the platform. You will work on the backend that enables AI agents, document analysis, conversational analytics, and workflow automation.

• You develop and maintain our Python backend, based on FastAPI and PostgreSQL.

• You build APIs, data models, and services used by internal teams and clients.

• You work on AI functionalities such as agents, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), document analysis, and workflow orchestration.

• Together with the team, you ensure that generative AI is deployed in production in a reliable, secure, and explainable manner.

• You actively contribute ideas regarding architecture, scalability, security, access management, and the further development of the platform.

• You share your knowledge and mentor colleagues with technical challenges.

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will work on the technical core of CynthAI. You will be given plenty of room to contribute ideas regarding technical choices and the further development of the platform.
