Pay & benefits

What you'll get

A gross salary between €3,200 - €3,500 per month (based on 40 hours).
24 vacation days and 19.5 ATV days (with the possibility to buy or sell vacation days) and 8% holiday allowance. You build up a pension through participation in the Bedrijfstakpensioenfonds voor het levensmiddelenbedrijf.
An allowance for your travel expenses (€ 0.21 cents per kilometer with a max. of 35 kilometers one way). We like to work together in the office, but you can also work partly from home.

The role

At Jumbo, we do everything we can to offer delicious, affordable, and responsible food for everyone. As a Finance Assistant, you work towards this daily by ensuring reliable financial administration. You process invoices, payments, and bank transactions, support accounts receivable management, and help colleagues, stores, and entrepreneurs with their questions. In this way, together with your team, you ensure a healthy cash position and smooth financial processes within Jumbo.

What you'll do

Our team consists of four departments, where as a Finance Assistant you support our daily financial processes and take on tasks within multiple parts of the team. Your responsibilities include:

Ensuring that invoices are processed correctly and on time.
Handling weekly invoicing for our entrepreneurs.
Assessing new customers for creditworthiness.
Processing bank statements and ensuring up-to-date administration.
Checking payment and collection files before they are processed.
Supporting stores with administrative questions.
Identifying opportunities for improvement and helping to make processes a little better every day.
