• Preparing and discussing annual accounts;

What will my work as a Senior Assistant Accountant look like?

As a Senior Assistant Accountant, you are an important link within our SME team. You support entrepreneurs with financial issues, prepare annual accounts, and handle tax returns. In doing so, you look beyond just the numbers and actively think along about opportunities and improvements for clients.

You work closely with colleagues and get the opportunity to further develop yourself towards an advisory role within Countus.

You work for entrepreneurs within the SME sector in the region. These are companies with diverse issues in the financial, tax, and business fields.

Through close contact with clients, you will get to know their business well and can think along about developments, opportunities, and challenges that contribute to their long-term success.

When is the position of Senior Assistant Accountant a good fit for me?

You recognize yourself in:

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in a financial field, such as Accountancy;

• Several years of experience in a similar position within accountancy;

• Strong analytical ability and a structured way of working;

• A proactive and result-oriented attitude combined with ownership;

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively;

• The ambition to further develop yourself towards an advisory role.

You will work within the accountancy team of Countus Mill, where you collaborate with accountants, assistant accountants, tax specialists, and business advisors. Together, you support entrepreneurs with various financial and business-related issues.

The Mill location is part of Cluster South, along with the Barneveld-Ede, Wageningen, and Odijk locations. Within this cluster, various disciplines work closely together, making knowledge sharing and collaboration a matter of course.
