That is why we are looking for a Senior Accounting Officer who not only ensures a correct and timely invoicing process, but also actively contributes to the further professionalization of our Order to Cash organization. 
 
What will you do?

As a Senior Accounting Officer, you are responsible for a correct, timely, and controlled invoicing process and the associated financial processing of revenue-related transactions. You report directly to the Teamlead Order to Cash and play a key role in guaranteeing the quality, completeness, and reliability of the entire Order to Cash chain.

You maintain the overall overview of the invoicing and revenue processing process and ensure that contractual agreements are translated into invoicing and financial administration in a correct and consistent manner. In doing so, you work closely with colleagues within Sales, Operations, Customer Delivery, and Finance, giving you full visibility into what is happening within the end-to-end processes.

Additionally, you are the central point of contact for customer inquiries and disputes regarding inaccuracies in invoices. You ensure that these reports reach the correct place within the organization and monitor timely and correct handling, both by yourself and by the departments involved. In this role, you take control of the process and safeguard the quality of service towards the customer.

You make an important contribution to the monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and ensure the correct processing of revenue-related items, reconciliations, and underlying documentation. You also act as a point of contact for issues in the areas of invoicing, contract administration, and revenue processing.

At the same time, you continuously look for opportunities to further standardize, automate, and improve processes. You identify bottlenecks, initiate optimizations, and actively contribute to further professionalizing and future-proofing the Order to Cash processes.

• Coordinating and handling invoice-related customer inquiries and disputes.
• Ensuring correct financial processing of revenue-related transactions.
• Performing reconciliations and controls on invoicing and revenue processes.
• Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Acting as a sparring partner for accounting issues regarding contracts, invoicing, and revenue processing.
• Initiating and implementing process improvements within the Order to Cash chain.
