As an Audit Lead, you are responsible for the smooth and high-quality execution of audit engagements for clients throughout the Netherlands. You form the link between the client, the team, and the External Auditor, and you ensure that audits are carried out efficiently, carefully, and according to the highest quality standards.

In addition, you actively contribute to the development of colleagues and the further professionalization of Countus Audit.

Your duties include

• Planning and coordinating audit engagements and team meetings;

• Auditing complex financial statement items;

• Reviewing audit files and monitoring quality and deadlines;

• Drafting and discussing auditor reports together with External Auditors and clients;

• Guiding, coaching, and developing assistants and senior assistants;

• Contributing to the further growth and professionalization of Countus Audit.

You work for a diverse group of clients throughout the Netherlands. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that audits are performed carefully and that clients can rely on high-quality service.

As an Audit Lead, you are an important interlocutor for clients and colleagues. You ensure clear communication, maintain an overview within complex files, and contribute to sustainable client relationships.

• A (nearly) completed RA or AA education, or you are in the final phase of this;

• Relevant work experience within audit practice;

• The ambition to further develop yourself within the audit profession.
